John's Legacy
A glimps into John's life and legacy
John was born into the parish of the Immaculate Conception. He died at the age of 34.
He was married twice; once to my mother, Ursula Rudat, and then to Marie Lacaille. From these marriages came one son each.
John and Ursula got married on Saturday the 6th of February in 1971. They then had a child on the 21st of May, 1971, Tony John, me. I know they got married at Saint John's Lutheran Church, and the reception was at Victoria Hall in Westmount. I am not sure at what date, I was about five at the time, they divorced.
John and Marie then got married, as to the date and location, I am unsure. I do know it was in Montreal as well. They had one child, John John. He remained married to Marie until the time of his death.
John was born of the parents Albert and Jacqueline Critchley and had two sisters, Carole and Patricia, and one brother, Robert.
My father worked for a company called AAF, I believe. When he died he had his own business called IAC. His company was an investing company.
Two of his favourite songs, that I remember were Music Box Dancer by Frank Mills and 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover by Paul Simon.
